I've been on the message boards all day, and I haven't seen any so far from what people have posted. Here in lebanon it isn't raining at the moment and I hope it stays away for a while.

Well, the "heavens" have opened up here in BSG. My rain gauge says we have had almost 2 inches in the last 90 minutes.

It's on and off in some places, been driving all day. It was spotty when I was leaving MECC, then I had to head to leb., it was actually raining in ****ensonville on my way there, then stopped when I got into lebanon. I wouldn't care if it was raining everywheres else except BSG, I've been waiting for this game all day, all week, all month, all year...don't think I can wait any longer.

Just heard some thunder here in Coeburn btw, their homecoming might get rained out.

    Re: Ballgames getting rained out.

We've been watching the weather fairly close - odds are high for the BSG pre-game festivities to be cancelled. No official word yet. Hope to know by 5:30.

From weather.gov, for the BSG area:

Late Afternoon: Showers and thunderstorms likely. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 82. South wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Tonight: Occasional showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Low around 66. Calm wind becoming southeast between 5 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%.

    Flash Flood Watch
A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL SLOWLY MOVE INTO THE VERY MOIST AIR
MASS IN PLACE OVER THE REGION...PRODUCING WIDESPREAD RAINFALL
AMOUNTS OF ONE TO TWO INCHES BY SATURDAY EVENING ACROSS EAST
TENNESSEE...SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA AND EXTREME SOUTHWEST NORTH
CAROLINA. IN ADDITION...SOME STORMS WILL HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO
PRODUCE LOCALLY HIGHER RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF THREE TO FOUR INCHES
IN SOME AREAS. BECAUSE THE GROUND REMAINS SATURATED FROM HEAVY
RAINS EARLIER IN THE WEEK...LOCATIONS THAT EXPERIENCE HEAVY
RAINFALL TONIGHT AND SATURDAY WILL HAVE THE POTENTIAL FOR FLASH
    FLOODING TO OCCUR.

    Hazardous Weather Outlook
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE HEAVY
RAIN ACROSS THE AREA TODAY THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING. BECAUSE
RAINFALL FROM PREVIOUS DAYS HAS SATURATED THE GROUND...LOCATIONS
THAT SEE HEAVY RAIN WILL HAVE THE POTENTIAL FOR FLASH FLOODING TO
    OCCUR.
    You'll shoot your eye out.

I'm headed down to Powell Valley regardless. Guess when I get there, I'll know if I've been screwed or not.

The forecast is terrible tomorrow too,so they may want to play tonight. Good night for the TRIBE to be off and me to be lazy on a rainy night and listen to somebody on the radio. I'll slosh around in this crud when we are playing, but I'm getting too dang old to do the cruddy weather when somebody else is playing bit.
